Harbor Havoc Tutorial
First join, first 10 Tokens, and the Shop ticket most new players miss.
Harbor Havoc does not open with a long campaign. The first session is the lesson. You load the experience, you land on the main menu, and the game expects you to find the hangar, the Shop ticket, and a vehicle you can afford with the 10 Tokens every player starts with. Some accounts also get a short on-rails tutorial that points at a first plane spawn. If that prompt appears, finish it. The whole point is to spawn once before a 40-player lobby starts shooting you.
This page is the written version of that first ten minutes. Pair it with how to play for the full loop and with controls if the camera or throttle feels wrong.
What the first screen is asking
The main menu is not a decoration. It is where you pick a team or let the auto-balance put you on red or blue, where you open the Shop ticket, and where you enter the hangar. Codes live in the Shop, not on the HUD. If you press play first, you will spend the opening whistle looking for a redeem box that is not there. Open the ticket, paste the codes from the codes hub, then enter the round.
The hangar is the owned-vehicle list. Gold unlocks a vehicle forever. Tokens spawn that vehicle for the current round and reset when the harbor dies or the timer hits 60 minutes. You start with 10 Tokens and gain one about every 30 seconds. The free Basic Biplane costs 1 Token. That is the first air spawn the tutorial is trying to teach. A Space Bomber costs 11 Tokens. It cannot launch at the opening whistle no matter how many YouTube thumbnails show it.
If the in-game tutorial appears
When Harbor Havoc still shows the first-join lesson, it usually asks you to spawn a plane and complete a short movement task near the starting ships. Players who already know the game describe it as a ram or fly-to marker on the battleship line. Treat that as a spawn drill, not a combat test. Use the cheap plane it highlights. Do not open the Robux shop in the middle of the prompt. Do not leave the server. When the lesson closes, you should have one successful spawn in muscle memory.
If you do not see a tutorial, you are not broken. Many returning accounts skip straight to the public lobby. Do the same steps yourself: redeem codes, spawn the Basic Biplane or a Patrol Boat, and fly or drive once around your own harbor before you chase anyone. That is the tutorial even when the game stops holding your hand.
The first three spawns
Spend the first minute on your own water. Learn throttle, camera, and how to get back to the hangar after a crash. Then take a cheap boat toward the nearest island. Most new players never capture a flag. The island guide exists because a closer pad is worth more than a dogfight you lose. After one flag, go back to a plane you can afford. Do not dump the rest of the 10 Tokens into a jet you cannot keep in the air.
If you die, you are not out unless the lobby voted one-life. Walk back to the hangar and spawn again. Tokens already spent are gone for the round. Tokens you did not spend are still there. That is the only economy lesson the tutorial needs to land.
Shop, codes, and wraps before the second life
The Shop ticket is also where wraps and limited items sit. Redeem every working code before you care about looks. Wraps do not change damage. They do change whether you can see your own plane in a 40-player sky. After codes, ignore Robux until you understand Gold. The earn Gold guide covers daily play, group rewards, and why VIP gamepasses later went off sale. None of that matters if you never spawned the free plane.
If a code fails, you typed it wrong or it expired. Expired strings live on the expired codes page. Do not sit in the Shop during the opening whistle trying the same code five times. The tutorial is over when you can leave the menu and spawn without thinking.
What the tutorial will not tell you
The first-join lesson will not explain Inferno’s eruption, zombie lobbies, or why a Destroyer can beat a Battleship. Those pages exist later: Inferno, gamemodes, and the ship tier list. The tutorial also will not list badges. Badges track things like playtime and group joins. They are not required to finish the opening lesson.
The tutorial will not warn you about third-party script menus. If a video tells you to paste executor text to finish the tutorial faster, close it. This wiki does not publish those steps. Learn the hangar by clicking it.
After the first successful spawn
Once you can spawn a plane, take an island, and find the Shop ticket, you are done with the tutorial. Read how to destroy the harbor next if you want the actual win condition, or how to fly if the camera is still the problem. Come back to this page only when you make a new account or when a friend loads Harbor Havoc for the first time and asks where the codes box went.
Harbor Havoc is a short menu and a long round. The tutorial is the menu. Finish it, then play the round like everyone else: Tokens, islands, harbor health.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Harbor Havoc questions.
Is there a Harbor Havoc tutorial?
New players can get an opening lesson on first join that covers the hangar and a first vehicle spawn. If it appears, finish it before you open the public server list.
How do you finish the Harbor Havoc tutorial?
Follow the on-screen spawn prompt, take the cheap plane or boat it offers, and complete the short flight or ram task. Do not leave the server until the lesson closes.
Can you skip the Harbor Havoc tutorial?
Some accounts never see it again after the first session. If it is on screen, do not skip it. The first 10 Tokens and the Shop ticket are easier after you have spawned once.
What should you buy after the tutorial?
Redeem codes, then spend Gold on a cheap plane or boat you can actually spawn with Tokens. The free Basic Biplane is the correct first air spawn.
Where is the Shop in the tutorial?
The Shop is a ticket on the main menu, not a button on the in-round HUD. Open it before you press play if you want codes and wraps on the first life.
